Beatrice in Purgatorio, or the case against invisible printing by Andre Chaves is a hand-printed pamphlet focusing on the author’s viewpoints on traditional printing techniques as opposed to Beatrice Warde’s essay called “Printing should be Invisible”.
Beatrice Ward was the wife of Frederick Warde printer and typographer. She worked for the Monotype Company for many years.
